Privacy Policy

SEEN is operated from Israel by Horizon Mark, a registered Israeli business (osek murshe) no. 2406995 ("SEEN", "we"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions and requests: hello@seen-map.com.

What we collect

  • What you give us. If you leave us a message: your name, Instagram handle and, if you choose, phone and email. If you message SEEN’s Instagram account: your message and what you share with it.
  • Creators’ content. The recommendations, words, photos and profile details a creator has published or approved for her map.
  • Usage statistics. Which maps and places are opened and which buttons are tapped, under a random id that is not linked to you. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising.
  • Technical information. Like any website, our servers see technical details such as IP addresses, kept briefly in logs.

You do not need an account, and you are under no legal obligation to give us anything. Without a name and handle we cannot reply to a message.

Location and your device

Your location is read only when you tap the location button and allow it, and only to show what is near you. It is not sent to us or stored. The places you save, your hotel and your display settings are kept in your browser, not by us; clearing the site’s data in your browser removes them.

Why we use it

To run and improve SEEN, to build and show creators’ maps, and to reply to you. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Who else receives it

Service providers that host and run SEEN for us (cloud hosting, storage, mapping and processing services), bound to use it only for that; some of them operate outside Israel. Beyond that, only when the law requires it, to protect rights or safety, or to a buyer if the business is sold. Links to other sites (maps, Instagram, TikTok, booking) take you to them, and their policies apply there.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the purposes above: a creator’s content while her map is published, a message until it is answered or for up to 12 months, usage statistics for up to 180 days.

Your rights

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to hello@seen-map.com and we will answer within 30 days. See also Delete your data. If you are not satisfied, you may contact Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority.

Children and changes

SEEN is not directed at children under 13. When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
