Terms of Use

1. What SEEN provides

SEEN is an information service. It shows maps of places in travel destinations, built from recommendations published by content creators. SEEN does not sell, operate or reserve accommodation, transport, tours, restaurants or any other travel product or service, and it is not a travel agency.

2. Recommendations belong to the creators

Each map shows the recommendations and the words of a particular creator, as published and approved by them. The opinions in them are the creator’s, not a statement by SEEN about the quality of a place. Where a creator has marked a recommendation as a commercial collaboration, it is labelled as such.

3. Accuracy

Places change: they move, close, and change their hours and prices. SEEN makes a reasonable effort to keep information current but does not warrant that it is complete, accurate or up to date. Before relying on any detail, such as opening hours, price, physical accessibility, dietary suitability or allergens, confirm it with the place. Distances and walking times are estimates, not a substitute for navigation.

4. Links to third-party sites

The site links to third-party sites and apps: Google Maps, places’ own websites, Instagram, TikTok and booking sites. Their terms and privacy policies apply there. Booking, payment, price, availability, changes, cancellation and refunds are the responsibility of the site where you made them; SEEN is not a party to that transaction.

5. Acceptable use

The site is for people aged 13 and over; a younger visitor needs a parent’s permission. You may view it, save places and share links to its pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• copy, scrape, reproduce, republish or sell the content or maps, manually or automatically, or build a database from them, without written permission;
• show the site inside another site (framing) or present its content as someone else’s;
• circumvent access or security controls, or try to reach parts of the site that are not public;
• overload or disrupt the site, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The design, code, the maps as compiled, and the SEEN name and mark belong to SEEN. Creators’ texts, photos and videos belong to them and are shown with their permission. Base map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL.

If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, including a photo in which you appear, write to hello@seen-map.com with a link and an explanation. We will review it and remove infringing content promptly.

7. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law permits, SEEN is not liable for direct or indirect damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its information, including a visit to a recommended place, a booking with a third party, or inaccurate or outdated information. This does not limit rights that cannot be limited by law, including under consumer protection law.

8. Privacy and accessibility

How SEEN handles information is in the Privacy Policy. How the site is made accessible is in the Accessibility Statement.

9. Changes

SEEN may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site, remove any content, and block access for anyone who breaks these terms. These terms may be updated; the date at the top will change, and a material change will be clearly noted. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed solely by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of the Tel Aviv‑Jaffa district have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force, and not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
